A Solitary Monk Travels is a newly established tour operator company founded by Mrs. Choki, a passionate traveler with a diverse background in education, business, and customer service. With experience as a teacher and procurement officer in Bhutan, Mrs. Choki later pursued a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. During her five years living in Australia, she worked as a retail assistant, gaining invaluable insights into interacting with people from various cultures.

Drawing from her experiences in both Bhutan and Australia, Mrs. Choki has developed a deep understanding of the needs and interests of travelers. Together with her small family she is dedicated to offering personalized and authentic travel experiences in Bhutan. As the founder of this newly launched company, Mrs. Choki ensures that every guest receives exceptional service and a unique, memorable journey through Bhutan.
